Back In Canada
So now I’m back in Ottawa, and I’m quite happy. Teared up a little bit as the plane was landing and I saw the snow falling. Was a good feeling. I missed the snow, the brisk cold winters, and most importantly, the people.
I’m gonna miss Hong Kong too though, mostly the food.

Snacking and Shopping

So yesterday afternoon (Wed Feb 22nd) was a splendid (hah I just used the word splendid) day of walking around shopping at all the little malls and kiosques and stalls around the kowloon area in Hong Kong. The shopping I don’t need to discuss, but the snacking… oh boy the snacking. It was already a day destined to be filled with food.

Back In Hong Kong

Heritage and Historical Sites of Macau
On the first day in Macau, we first went to see the one remaining wall of the Ruins of St Pauls. It was pretty cool. It really was just one remaining wall (doesn’t look very stable really…), the rest of it was burned down hundreds of years ago. It is definitely quite the tourist attraction. Left VS Right
This is something I’ve wondered about endlessly. Is everyone in this an either/or situation? Or are there people who are clearly in the middle, or seemingly a complete mish-mash of things?
The left brain is about logic and understanding and facts and hard numbers kinda thing, where as the right brain is more creative and emotional and spontaneous.

Today is pretty much a day that cannot be ruined. Really cannot. All the trip stuff, getting everything done, even getting my shots was enjoyable.
At the travel clinic (the last stop that I really needed to go to before I leave), I got some nurse lady to give me the shots that were recommended for me before I head off to the opposite side of the world.

All set to go!
Just picked up my visitor’s visa into China, and now I’m ready, set, and raring to go!
One week from tomorrow I will be on a plane heading to Hong Kong, and it is absolutely gonna rock my socks off. For the next couple weeks, I will be nothing but happy.

Bought me Sunglasses!
I just spent a lot of money on sunglasses (because I require glasses, and don’t currently use contacts, they are prescription sunglasses, therefore cost a lot of $$).
